Terbell contacted us several years ago to give them some help with increasing the number of visitors to their website, to in turn increase their sales enquiries. 

Terbell are specialist providers of event management training and diploma courses based in London and although they had a web presence built by a previous devleoper, they didn’t feel that their website was really doing its job properly in the search rankings.

Terbell therefore came to Channel with the brief that they wanted us to carry out a review of their existing website, its current levels of optimisation and its effectiveness in terms of numbers of visitors. 

They had implemented an Adwords campaign themselves, but it was underperforming for the money that was being spent.

After a thorough website and rankings audit, Channel were able to produce a list of recommendations.  These centred on refreshing and revising the content of their website to ensure a greater level of Google visibility through the optimisation of relevant keywords and key phrases, and creating some additional content -  again for optimum web visibility.  Channel worked closely with the team at Terbell to create this detailed and top quality content which the search engines love.

In tangent to the organic optimisation and content creation we implemented a revised Adwords campaign to drive site visits and track the results.  We began by creating a core list of keywords to be used, relevant to Terbell and to their business sector, based on what potential customers were searching for.  These core words and phrases formed the basis of our SEO strategy for them and helped to transform their website visitor numbers.

Trackable Results

We have now been working with Terbell for over 18 months, and over that period visits to their site have doubled whilst the links generated from Adwords have increased 7-fold as we have refined their keyword searching.  This more efficient and targeted use of Adwords has also reduce the average ‘cost per click’.

  • 5-fold increase in Ad Clicks
  • 10% reduction in CPC

Channel continue to monitor Terbell’s SEO on a monthly basis to ensure the site remains highly placed on search engine results,  and that any alterations or fluctuations in keyword rankings are spotted and addressed immediately.
